Cyclist Engelbert Wiener founded the E. Wiener Einzelhandelsfirma in Schweinfurt; manufacture of bicycles in individual assembly and distribution

1956

Acquisition of the company by grandson Bernd Seuffert (father of Susanne Puello)

1963

Construction of the first Winora bicycle factory with assembly-line system in Schweinfurt

1996

Founding of Haibike by Susanne and Felix Puello

1997

Management assumed by the great-granddaughter Susanne Puello; association with Derby Cycle Corporation

2001

Change to Dutch Accell Group

2003

First parts wholesaler within Accell Group – investment in a new bike parts logistic to build up a new international wholesaler

2005

Establishment of our own component brand XLC International with integrated shop-in-shop concept for the specialized trade

2006

E. Wiener Bike Parts becomes the first parts wholesaler in Europe: Start of activities in the neighbouring countries

Set-up of completely new, highly efficient parts logistics; Introduces the world‘s first integrated T-shaped e-bike battery
