SKID PLATE Seit jeher schützen wir den Motor vor Kratzern oder Aufsetzern durch eine spezielle Haibike-Innovation: die Skid Plate. Es ist ein am Rahmen verschraubtes Kunststoffbauteil, das unten am Motor sitzt, ihn technisch schützt und optisch integriert. Skid Plates finden sich an jedem XDURO und SDURO. We have always protected our bikes’ motors from scratches and bumps by means of a Haibike innovation: the skid plate. This plastic component is screwed to the frame, protecting the motor above it and integrating it into the bike’s overall silhouette. Each XDURO and SDURO comes equipped with a skid plate. Anwendung findet dieses Konzept bei der Motoraufhängung und der Akkubefestigung bei den Aluminium- sowie Carbonrahmen. Every component is screwed directly onto the frame, dispensing with any form of adapter. This reduces the size and weight, while increasing stability and precision at the same time. This concept is used in mounting the motor and the battery onto our aluminium and carbon frames.
